This piece was drawn from scratch & is true to scale.  Ideal in a workshop but beautiful enough to go anywhere.  The calligraphy is hand painted in a gorgeous green-blue tone on the jet black background.  The wood base is aspen sourced here in Colorado.  The nail chart has been antiqued by methods used in the studio to achieve the aged look & feel. By utilizing some old pallets the homeowner's already had on hand, I was able to dismantle them and apply various paint and stain finishes.  Designed, hand built and finished on both sides, even the brackets needed to be custom built.  The owner's supplied a small kitty door they had purchased prior to the build so I incorporated it in the design.

This coffee table was the perfect addition for the homeowners who requested I salvage parts of their balcony handrail & stair treads.  It blends well with the new pieces and honors something from their past.
